Guidelines for Love Marriage

Arya Samaj Marriage is applicable amongst Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs or Jains. A Hindu marriage can be solemnized between two Hindus in the Arya Samaj Mandir with their own free will and consent.

Documents required for the Solemnization of Marriage in Arya Samaj Mandir:

1. Documentary evidence of date of birth of parties (Matriculation Certificate / Passport / Birth Certificate/ Driving License). Minimum age: 21 years (male) & 18 years (female).
2. Separate affidavits from bride and groom stating date of birth, marital status, and nationality. (Affidavits will be prepared by us)
3. Four passport-size photographs of each party.
4. Two witnesses from any side along with valid ID proofs.
5. Affirmation that parties are not related within the prohibited degree of relationship.
6. Copy of divorce decree (if divorced) or death certificate (if widow/widower).
7. Two garlands (Jaimala), 2 kg sweets, and ½ kg desi ghee.
